Cardi B filed for divorce from the Migos rapper for a second time in July.

Cardi B is not happy with her estranged husband Offset.

The “WAP” rapper, 32, filed for divorce from her rapper husband for a second time in July after six years of marriage, and a source tells PEOPLE that things remain icy between the pair.

“Cardi tries very hard for things to be amicable with Offset. She’s forgiven him for so much in the past because she wants the best for their kids,” the insider says. “She’s furious with Offset again. Their relationship has always been very up and down. Cardi always moves on though.”

Reps for Offset and Cardi B did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Cardi and the Migos rapper are parents to daughter Kulture, 6, son Wave, 3, and a baby girl born in September.

“She’s a great mom and this is her focus,” the source adds.

Still, Cardi has faced a number of setbacks in protecting her peace in recent days. On Wednesday, Oct. 23, the star announced that she was in the hospital “recovering from a medical emergency” and would be pulling out of her scheduled performance at ONE Musicfest on Saturday, Oct. 26.

“It breaks my heart that I won’t get to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there,” she wrote in a statement shared to Instagram. “Bardi Gang – thank you for understanding and I’ll be back better and stronger soon. Don’t worry. Love yall.”

Cardi B Sparks Offset Breakup Rumors After Sharing Cryptic Message

The announcement came just hours after Cardi expressed her frustrations with Offset, 32, in a series of since-deleted posts on X (formerly Twitter).

“Bro I wish the worst on this man … I never hated somebody soooo much and these bitches be so thirty [sic] to have him,” she wrote. “please take this man off my hands this garbage bag is too heavy !!”

After a fan encouraged her to “stop” because Offset is “the father of your children,” Cardi doubled down.

“Yea he is that’s why I don’t wish him death … but I truly hate this dirty ass narcissistic piece of s—,” she wrote. “And his family and his friends never check him that’s why he always going to be a piece of s— of a person.”

When another user replied to her initial post and said “Yep, you still love him,” the rapper clapped back yet again writing, “No I don’t wan [sic] him to get hit by a f—in truck … He really is just a dark cloud on anybody life he enters.”

Cardi’s social media comments came just one day after she revealed that a prank call had prompted a CPS visit to her home at 11 p.m. local time to check on her three children. She later clarified that it was not Offset who called CPS on the house.

“So I wanna make this very f—ing clear, and I can’t even breathe right now,” she said during the Live, which fans recorded and shared on X. “Motherf—ers have taken s— too f—ing far when you mess with my f—ing kids.”

Cardi later added during the Live, “I promise you this, I’m gonna sue CPS for f—ing coming to my house at whatever the f— time it is. [I will sue] the person that did this anonymous call.”

Cardi and Offset tied the knot in 2017, and she filed for divorce in September 2020. Though they later reconciled, she filed again in July. A rep for the star told PEOPLE at the time that the split was “not based on cheating rumors, but rather has been a long time coming.”
