Cardi B, who recently shared she is pregnant and is splitting from estranged husband Offset, shared insight into how she hid her baby bump using school girl skirts.

One week after the “I Like It” singer confirmed she is pregnant with her third baby with estranged husband Offset—who she is currently divorcing—she shared the one fashion staple she is happy to be done with.

“I’m so happy y’all know I’m,” she wrote on X, formerly Twitter, Aug. 4 “now I can stop wearing those deum school girl skirts lmaoooooo.”

Indeed, over the last several months, Cardi has shown a penchant for the high waisted school girl skirt over the past several months, first posting a photo in a brown plaid one in April, which she paired with a tight, green graphic tee.

Cardi wore a more classic beige one while posing alongside her and Offset’s children Kulture Kiari Cephus, 6, and son Wave Set Cephus, 2 for Mother’s Day, and more recently could be seen wearing two very short skirts, one in May and another in July.

Cardi (real name Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar) announced her pregnancy Aug. 1, the same day it was revealed she and the Migos alum were legally ending their relationship.

“With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote on Instagram alongside a photo showing off her baby bump. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all!”

Cardi, who has spoken out about the many ups and downs in her relationship with Offset (real name Kiari Kendrell Cephus), adding another little one proved to be a turning point for her.

“You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!” she continued, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”

As for the couple’s divorce, a rep for the “WAP” rapper set the record straight on what led to them going their separate ways.

“This is not based on one particular incident,” the rep told E! News in a statement. “It has been a longtime coming.”

In fact, Cardi—who is requesting primary custody of their children and child support from the 32-year-old—was saying in December that she’d been single “for a minute.”

“You know when you just out grow relationships,” she wrote on her Instagram Story at the time. “I’m tired of protecting people’s feelings…I GOTTA PUT MYSELF FIRST!”
