Following the devastation left by Hurricane Milton and Helene, countless people looked to rebuild their lives as the storms ripped through southern states. According to reports, the cleanup from both hurricanes will exceed tens of billions of dollars as insurance companies begin to assess the damages. While watching the damage left by the storms, Blake Shelton looked for ways to give back to those in need. And it appears that he will join forces with stars like Backstreet Boys, Kelsea Ballerini, Stephen Colbert, and even Billy Bob Thorton for a hurricane relief benefit.
On November 2nd, some of the biggest names in music and Hollywood will come together for a special benefit to help those families impacted by the recent hurricanes. Hosted by Paramount Global, the special will air on CBS and CMT. Besides the names listed above, the event promised appearances by Billy Burke, Brittney Spencer, American Idol legend Clay Aiken, Zac Brown Band, and even Cedric The Entertainer.
While discussing the upcoming event, the executive director of content for change at Paramount Global, Melissa C. Potter, said, “Paramount Global and its brands are proud to collaborate with United Way Worldwide on the United Way Benefit for Hurricane Relief in reaching audiences across the U.S. to help those impacted by Hurricanes Helene and Milton.”
