Nicki Minaj’s latest subliminal tweet has left her fans in a frenzy.

On Monday (June 10), rap star Nicki Minaj took to X (formerly Twitter) and shared a cryptic message to her 28.1 million followers. In the post, the Trinidadian-born rapper/singer, real name Onika Maraj-Petty, wrote, “Yes Single …” 

While it’s unclear what exactly Nicki Minaj was referring to in her message, fans have started to debate if the “Queen of Rap” has decided to leave her husband, Kenneth Petty, or if the post was just her way of hinting at new music.

Nicki, 41, and Kenneth Petty, 46, officially tied the knot back in 2019. The couple also share a young son, nicknamed Papa Bear, whom they welcomed in 2020.

In case you didn’t know, the rapper’s alleged past has made him a talked-about topic in the media. In 1994 Kenneth Petty was accused of sexually assaulting Jennifer Hough at knifepoint. Amid initially denying the allegations, he ultimately pleaded guilty to attempted rape and served four years in jail.

On the music side of things, Nicki’s latest single “FTCU (SLEEZEMIX) features musical artists Travis ScottChris Brown, and Sexyy Red. The single, which samples Waka Floka Flame’s “F*ck the Club Up,” was released in April.
