Nicki Minaj has caused a few stirs with both her professional life and personal life over the years – and she’s done it yet again, this time thanks to her behavior at her concert at Malahide Castle in Dublin on Saturday, July 6th.
The “Anaconda” hitmaker once again turned up late to her concert. She was due to take to the stage in Dublin – her first Dublin concert since 2015 – promptly at 8pm, but reportedly only made an appearance after 90 minutes, which left fans completely outraged.

Nicki Minaj Arrives 90 Minutes Late And Performs For Less Than One Hour
Not only did the “Barbie World” singer take to the stage an hour and a half behind schedule, leaving her fans waiting for her in the rain at the outdoor venue, but she reportedly performed for less than one hour.
Some fans claim the controversial rapper’s performance – which may or may not have been lip-synced – was just 30 minutes long, with 10-15 minutes spent on outfit changes. This has understandably caused fans to not only complain on social media, but also demand partial or full refunds, as they felt she didn’t deliver on what she promised!
“Nicki Minaj at Malahide Castle was a disaster,” wrote one fan on X. “She was over 90 mins late, ‘performed’ for less than 50 mins, and had zero respect for the people who paid to see her. She should never be a headline act,” they added.

Fans Take To Social Media To Complain And Demand Refunds
“Definitely have lost all respect for Nicki Minaj after what happened last night in Malahide Castle,” slammed one of the mom-of-one’s fans on X, as another stated: “Crowd leaving at Malahide Castle because Nicki Minaj can’t be bothered to come on stage. What a disgrace.”
“The million dollar question is whether you will have enough respect for your fanbase to show up on time. Malahide Castle was an absolute disgrace. 1.5 hours late [for a] 50 minute show,” a third fan wrote, as a fourth wondered if they would be reimbursed for the disastrous concert. They said: “Wondering if there will be a refund for the Nicki Minaj concert in Malahide last night as she came on two hours late and played a 30 minute set. Paid €300+ for tickets, simply not acceptable.”
“I really hope we can get a refund from this disaster!” exclaimed another. “I had considered grabbing some tickets to Nicki Minaj’s Malahide Castle gig but didn’t bother as her new album had been a tad mid, and now seeing all the tweets about how appalling it was I’m feeling vindicated and up ninety quid,” quipped one grateful fan.

X wasn’t the only social media platform which disgruntled fans took to, as the complaints continued over on TikTok, with many people referencing her alleged lip syncing, and many others asking for refunds. “Nicki Minaj was so messy, late, lip synced and [gave a] 40-minute performance. Refunds needed,” wrote one fan on the above video.
“She’s a literal con artist,” someone else wrote on another video, as another asked: “Why would anyone pay good money to see her? Seriously!” “She was always rubbish. Why would anyone pay to see her anyway?” asked another, in agreement. “She scammed everyone,” wrote one disappointed fan. “Not sure why they are shocked she has been late for every gig,” noted another fan, as another concurred: “Why do people go to her gigs, it’s a lottery if she arrives late or not at all.” “Why are people still buying tickets to her concerts? She has 0 respect towards her fans!” exclaimed another.
Another non fan said: “If she was playing in the field across from the house I’d close the curtains.” Many others insisted that they should be refunded, with one demanding “money back from promoters.” Another wrote: “Need to hold promoter to account.” “Fans should get a refund and she needs to be ‘chastised’ via social media. She’s a B grade artist at best,” slammed another.
