Yuki Chiba makes VMAs history with Megan Thee Stallion for 'Mamushi'  performance - Electric Bloom Webzine

Yuki Chiba released his new single “Dareda?” on November 11th (Monday), along with the release of its music video.

The music video for the track was filmed in New York during Yuki Chiba’s trip to the city for the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards (VMA) held at the UBS Arena in September. At the VMA, Chiba performed “Mamushi,” a collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, which won the Best Trending Video Award. This performance marked a historic moment as Chiba became the first Japanese artist to perform on the main stage of the VMA alongside Megan Thee Stallion, drawing significant global attention.

The music video includes behind-the-scenes footage from the VMA, showing Chiba singing “Dareda?” in the same outfit he wore for his VMA performance, as well as appearances by Megan Thee Stallion and comedian Naomi Watanabe.
