There is one actress who could perfectly fit this role; Zoe Saldaña. On top of being one of the most talented actresses in the industry, she also happens to be a fan of the Dune films. She has often displayed her skills in some of the most diverse films, expressing her range perfectly. So, adding another to the list might not be too bad.

Zoe Saldaña’s Favourite Films

In 2009, Zoe Saldaña gave an interview with TrekMovie, where she was asked about her favorite movies. The actress named a couple of projects that had a huge impact on her growing up. She talked about the Blade Runner film from 1982 and mentioned AlienTerminator, and even The Hunger.

While all of these answers are quite interesting, it was the final entry that was quite fascinating. The actress stated that she was a big fan of the 1984 film, Dune.

She mentioned that when she was younger, she enjoyed movies that she did not fully understand, as she would get their meaning as she grew older. With this, she would obsessively watch the David Lynch film and try to understand the meaning behind it.

Zoe Saldaña Would A Perfect Fit For Denis Villeneuve’s Dune

Knowing how much Zoe Saldaña loved Dune, it would be perfect if she could be a part of the Denis Villeneuve series, now that it is in its prime. The actress’s addition to the film series would make a lot of sense, as she is one of the most talented people in the film industry.

She has been a part of four franchises that have made over $2 billion (via Glamor), making her one of the only people in Hollywood to have done it. The films are also known for hiring a lot of talent for the film, with its cast ranging from Timothée Chalamet and Florence Pugh to Christopher Walken and Stellan Skarsgård.

Her talent and her accolades would make a perfect fit. The third film in the franchise is set to adapt Frank Herbert’s Dune Messiah, and it could require new faces for new characters. This opens doors for a potential role for Zoe Saldana as well.
