A newly-surfaced leak reportedly reveals a major change for Stranger Things Season 5 currently in production for Netflix.
The Netflix series Stranger Things is a show that’s evolved quite surprisingly over the time. With years set between its seasons, it’s a show that has matured with its cast, leading into darker storylines with higher stakes. Now it looks like Stranger Things Season 5 will offer another major change according to a newly-surfaced leak.
Here are the photos:
The images feature actor Jamie Campbell Bower who fans know as Season 4’s big bad Vecna. In fact, the fourth season of the series revealed that Vecna was more or less responsible for the Upside Down all along, and cemented him as a rather dangerous character. Interestingly, however, he’s pictured here as a seemingly normal human – which is a major change for the Stranger Things villain.
Of course, fans might’ve also noticed that the character has a brand-new brown three-piece suit. This even includes a matching hat and some vintage glasses. It’s possible that the getup could be for a flashback of some kind, or perhaps a dream sequence that only makes sense with the context of the new season. Likewise, fans could just be surprised by the reveal all the same.
Ultimately, it’s an interesting look at the show’s fifth season at a time when details are scarce. Fortunately, it looks like fans can expect some interesting new sequences featuring Jamie Campbell Bower’s Vecna. And, considering the way the show’s fourth season ended, there are certainly plenty of possibilities for his character to be used.
The hit Netflix series Stranger Things is currently scheduled to return to the streaming platform in 2025. Stay tuned to ScreenGeek for any additional updates as we have them.
