But Bianca Censori was certainly there in spirit this year, as several A-list stars appeared to take a leaf out of her book while dressing for the red carpet.

Bianca, 29, who secretly wed Kim Kardashian‘s ex, 46, in December 2022, has long been criticised for her near-nude outfits, many of which include sheer body stockings worn without underwear.

But that didn’t stop the likes of Rita Ora, Doja Cat, Emily Ratajkowski, Iris Law, and FKA Twigs from emulating the Australian architect’s questionable style.

Rita dared to bare by going underwear-free in a sheer bodysuit adorned with a curtain of colourful beaded streamers that left her hips and legs exposed.

The Let You Love Me hitmaker was a dead ringer for Bianca as she headed to the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit Gala.

For the after party, Rita once again channelled Bianca by going braless in another bodysuit with a beaded floral loincloth barely covering her crotch.

For both appearances, the songstress styled her brunette tresses into a short, wet-look bob reminiscent of the cropped, slicked-down hairstyle often sported by Bianca.

She went braless and opted not to wear underwear for the raunchy look.

The custom Versace gown left very little to the imagination, with the American model completely exposing her bare bottom through the dress.

Her after party outfit also consisted of a skin-baring, sheer tasselled dress worn over a sparkly bikini.

Meanwhile Iris Law, who has recently been linked to footballer Trent Alexander Arnold, opted for her usual quirky look – with a daring twist.

He hasn’t been invited since 2022, however, he was previously known as a Met Gala skipper, as his last appearance was actually in 2019.

So, instead of attending the Met Gala, he and Bianca instead spent their Monday over 2,000 miles away continuing their move out of their LA mansion.

Kim and Kanye’s last Met Gala appearance was in 2019 when she stunned in a gold wet look and Kanye wore a $42 black jacket.

Met Gala 2022 was cancelled due to Covid and, in 2021, Kim filed for divorce from Kanye, citing irreconcilable differences.

However, she still took a bit of him with her to that year’s Met Gala, completely concealing her body – including her face – in a black skin-tight suit designed by Balenciaga, Ye’s frequent collaborator.

The Costume Institute’s spring exhibition falls on the first Monday in May every year and is held at New York City‘s Metropolitan Museum of Art.

This year the event was titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion while the dress code is The Garden of Time.
