It’s undoubtedly the biggest night in the award season calendar – and Kim Kardashian and Emily Ratajkowski pulled out all the stops for the Vanity Fair Oscars after-party.

The reality star, 43, looked suitably glamorous in a sculptural white satin dress by Balenciaga as she arrived at the Wallis Annenberg Center in Beverly Hills.

The mother-of-four, who styled her hair in Hollywood waves, completed her look with a smokey eye and nude lip.

Meanwhile, Emily Ratajkowski, 32, opted for a similarly futuristic dress by French fashion label Jacquemus.

The backless dress featured an asymmetrical bodice that tilted slightly to the left and appeared to nearly lift away from her figure.

Letting her statement dress take centre stage, the supermodel opted for her signature tousled hair and minimal jewellery.

White Lotus actress Alexandra Daddario was another glamorous guest who fully committed to the trend.

The star, 37, arrived on the red carpet in a slim-fitting white gown with a huge statement bow which wrapped around her arms.

Alexandra slicked her brown hair into a bun and wore a bold deep red shade of lipstick.

Alessandra Ambrosio also opted for a similarly statement white gown for the Vanity Fair afterparty last night.

The former Victoria’s Secret model’s slim-fitting white dress featured a silk cape and pussy bow neckline.

The star, 42, styled her long brown hair in a slicked-back bun and finished off her look with some red nail polish and diamond earrings.

German actress Sandra Hüller – who starred in Anatomy of a Fall – arrived on the red carpet in a v-neck white gown with an eye-catching bodice.

Earlier in the evening, Emily Blunt was the first star to wear a futuristic gown when she arrived in a beaded couture dress, which appeared to have gravity-defying straps.

The cream Schiaparelli gown was covered with sequins and adorned with quirky bejewelled Y, which fans joked looked like the outfit of underwear.

Last night’s Oscars was filled with dazzling performances, controversial comments, a shocking pregnancy announcement, a naked appearance on stage, an awkward wardrobe malfunction – and an argument between host Jimmy Kimmel and former President Donald Trump.

It began with a cringy monologue from the host that saw him make a very crude joke about Robert Downey Jr.’s manhood – which did not go over well with the actor.

But when Donald posted a scathing tweet about Jimmy afterwards, blasting him as the ‘worst host’ in Oscars history, the comedian decided to blast him on national television, asking him: ‘Isn’t it past your jail time?’

During the three-hour star-studded, event Ryan Gosling delivered a hilarious rendition of his hit song I’m Just Ken from Barbie that left many celebrity attendees in the audience in shambles, and Emma Stone accidentally ripped her dress.

It definitely had its fair share of viral and shocking moments – the dog who appeared in Anatomy of a Fall became an internet sensation after he was spotted sitting adorably in the audience, and John Cena came on stage in the nude, using the envelope with the winner in it to cover his private parts.
