After a five year hiatus, Michonne is back along with Rick who is trying to escape the Civic Republic Military. Plus: will love blossom for the Nevermets? Here’s what to watch this evening
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live
9pm, Sky Max
Yet another spin-off from the zombie apocalypse franchise (six and counting), this one is set to be an, erm, “epic love story”, picking up five years after the conclusion of the original series. Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira reprise their roles as Rick Grimes and Michonne Hawthorne, with Rick trying to escape the Civic Republic Military. Hollie Richardson
Double the Money
8pm, Channel 4
It’s the show that makes The Apprentice look like a few toddlers with a Fisher-Price shop till and lovely Sue Perkins look like HR’s most terrifying harridan. This time, the teams are tasked with turning £4,000 into £8,000 in just three weeks, before returning to the Vault to discover who has made it to the final. Ellen E Jones
The Young Offenders
9.30pm, BBC One
This week’s visit to Cork is about local legend Fake Billy, who seems to have made a return to terrorise locals – but with the original Fake Billy in prison, this is a Fake Fake Billy they’re dealing with. And he has just nabbed Conor’s most prized possession: a lighter. HR
Hidden Treasures of the National Trust
9.30pm, BBC Two
To Worksop this time, where meticulous and proud Edwardian shopkeeper William Straw Jr would be very concerned about the wear and tear to his preserved semi-detached 1920s family home. Then it is over to Cambridgeshire for a nosy round Anglesey Abbey, before checking out Killerton House in Devon. HR
The Nevermets
10pm, Channel 4
“The feelings are still there. But it’s nothing more, it’s nothing less, it’s just … mediumish?” Sara isn’t exactly bowled over after flying 7,000 miles to finally meet her boyfriend of two years. And spare a thought for Jay, who has to spend four hours with his seven future in-laws moments after he meets his girlfriend for the first time. HR
Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show
10pm, Sky Comedy
“I only like to do exactly what I wanna do,” says Jerrod Carmichael, who has used that excuse to not show up for his friend’s wedding. In this episode of his very funny part standup, part fly-on-the-wall documentary, the comedian faces up to what a rubbish pal he has been. HR
Live sport
Horse Racing: The Oaks, 1.30pm, ITV1
Day one at Epsom, headlined by the 4.30pm Betfred Oaks.
Premiership Rugby Union: Northampton v Saracens, 7pm, TNT Sports 1
The first semi-final from Franklin’s Gardens.
