THE Walking Dead features lots of action – though not of the sexy kind.
In The Walking Dead, sex doesn’t seem to be a major part of day-to-day life for the survivors.
It obviously happens – hello, Maggie getting pregnant – but it’s not as prevalent as in other shows, such as Game of Thrones.
But that doesn’t stop fans begging for certain characters to be paired together romantically, such as Daryl and Beth, or Daryl and Carol.
Daryl, played by Norman Reedus, is a bit of an enigma, never really showing his emotions, just his angst or anger.
Norman Reedus has admitted Daryl still has the same desires he did before the apocalypse and that when it happens, “it’s gonna be a big deal”.

He told TV Line: “I’m glad that we have played him the way we’ve played him. I think if we would have had some hot steamy barn sex somewhere, it would be over and done, it wouldn’t be a thing.”
He went on: “I don’t think he’s that type of a guy. I think he’s the type of guy that when he does it, he’ll be in love. Like he will fall in love. He wears his heart on his sleeve.”
Daryl is a character that doesn’t exist in The Walking Dead comics, meaning fans don’t know his story or endgame.
The original showrunner Frank Darabont once intended for Daryl to be gay, which Norman was fine with, though it never happened.

There are a handful of gay characters on the show though, including Tara (Alanna Masterson), Jesus (Tom Payne) and Aaron (Ross Marquand).
And while it isn’t a major part, there have been a some sex scenes in The Walking Dead.
Back in season one Lori (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Shane (Jon Bernthal) got it on, before she then slept with husband Rick (Andrew Lincoln) for the first time since their reunion.

Shane slept with Andrea (Laurie Holden), who also hooked up with The Governer (David Morrissey) in a gross twist.
Other characters to go the whole way include Rosita (Christian Serratos), Abraham (Michael Cudlitz) and Michonne (Danai Gurira).
