Fans Are Absolutely Dying of Laughter After Emily Blunt Unintentionally Throws Shade at Ryan Gosling!

During a recent appearance on The Howard Stern Show, Emily Blunt brought her signature charm, discussing how she effortlessly conjures chemistry with her co-stars and navigates those sometimes awkward kissing scenes.

Yet, amidst the laughter and anecdotes, she delved into the more challenging moments she’s encountered over the years. While she did not name any names, she certainly did hint at some less-than-pleasant experiences. On being asked whether she wants to throw up after such a scene she revealed,

“Absolutely. Absolutely. I wouldn’t say it’s sort of extreme loathing, but I’ve definitely not enjoyed some of it, I have had chemistry with people who… I have not had a good time working with them. Sometimes it’s a strange thing. Sometimes you could have a rapport that’s really effortless, but it doesn’t translate onscreen, Chemistry is this strange thing. It’s an ethereal thing that you can’t really bottle up and buy or sell. It’s like there or it’s not…It’s just easier when you have a natural rapport with someone.”

Afterward, she made it clear that while some experiences were challenging, not all of them were. Thus, she listed some of her favorite co-stars with whom the awkwardness and unpleasantness didn’t apply, and that included, Tom Cruise, Cillian Murphy, Dwayne Johnson, Robert Downey Jr., and Matt Damon. Interestingly, fans couldn’t help but notice that Ryan Gosling‘s name was conspicuously absent from the list! Here is what the fans had to say about the situation,

However at the end of the interview, Blunt also added,

“I love his wife, Eva. I love their children, and I feel like I’m very lucky to be friends with a gem of a person like him,”

The two are obviously great friends, and their chemistry and banter have everyone in splits. Fans are eagerly hoping to see more of it!

Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt’s Chemistry is Off the Charts!

It all began at the 2024 Oscars. Their banter while presenting an award took the internet by storm. Despite some playful jabs that may have stung a little, it was all in good fun, and people sensed a true chemistry that begged for its own spotlight. Lo and behold, The Fall Guy arrived, a movie serving as a love letter to the daredevils who make jumping from 12-story buildings look like a walk in the park.

In the movie, Ryan Gosling plays a stuntman on a quest to find a missing movie star and win back his ex-girlfriend played by none other than Emily Blunt. It’s action-packed and everything an adrenaline junkie could dream of. With glowing reviews, it’s definitely a must-watch!

Speaking about the love story in the film, Blunt revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly,

“There’s a kind of nostalgia for the action-romance. I mean, it was so up my alley growing up. I think we just wanted to make sure that we approached the couple in a really relatable way, that they were kind of messy. They’re so unslick, the two of them. You’ve got these two who can’t find their footing with each other, and hopefully, you ache for them to figure it out.”

She further stated,

“But I think we wanted to approach it in a really free-wheeling way that felt grounded. It’s what I love about David Leitch’s movies: They’re usually really stylistic but very grounded still. We had a lot of inspiration from David and [his producing partner and wife Kelly McCormick] who really are a love story. They’re sort of a wonderful mirror image of what we were trying to build with Colt and Jody”

The two have time and again expressed their gratitude for being able to work with each other. People thoroughly enjoy their friendship, especially since their pesky “Barbenheimer” rivalry, which has gifted the internet endless moments that will now live in their heads rent-free.

The Fall Guy is now playing in theaters.
