The property was purchased by her father and now sold by a real estate agent
The life of royalty in Britain is something that everyone wants to know about, and when it comes to acquiring an asset that belonged to a woman and her family, like Diana Spencer and now we are talking about the family mansion, which was sold in record time and for an amount that seems out of this world.
The property was available in the real estate market for $14.2 million dollars.
The mansion that belonged to Lady Di and her family
Lady Di’ s father and his wife, Diana’s stepmother, was put up for sale last June and the location is prime London, but the value of the property skyrocketed due to the former inhabitants who were there.
Now it has been reported that the residence sold in record time, with just three days on the market.
This claim was made by Robert Dawson, the real estate agent who handled the sale of the place. According to ‘Robb Report’, the agent commented, “This is the first time the Farm Street home has been on the market in 22 years, and it did indeed sell in its first week on the market.”
Although the new owner of the Spencer mansion was not revealed, what we could know, was the price and it was sold for almost 11 million pounds, that is, 14.2 dollars.
It is also not known exactly what was the reason why the house was sold so quickly, whether it was because of the relationship of the property with Di or because of its architectural features.
The mansion was purchased in 1990 by John Spencer, Lady Di’s father.
It is said that Spencer bought the residence to give it to Raine Spencer, Diana’s stepmother. Shortly after the purchase, John Spencer died and the property remained in the hands of the Spencer family, at least for several years.
After Spencer‘ s death the place remained in the hands of Raine Spencer and before Di died she visited the place on several occasions.
At the beginning of the 21st century the property was sold to Alan and Mary Hobart, who sold the townhouse now and we do not know the new owner.
