The Four Horsemen looking confused in a restaurant in Now You See Me 2

With nearly a decade gone since the magical action franchise last graced the screen, Now You See Me 3‘s release date has finally been revealed. Primarily led by Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Dave Franco and Woody Harrelson, the franchise revolves around a group of magicians known as the Four Horsemen who use their performances and skills of deception to rob corrupt billionaires and give the money to their audiences. Now You See Me 3 has languished in development hell since 2015, finally gaining steam in late 2022 with Zombieland‘s Ruben Fleischer being brought on to direct.

Deadline has brought word that Now You See Me 3 will officially be hitting theaters on November 14, 2025. With the threequel finally getting a release date, the movie will be hitting theaters just over nine years after its predecessor, which hit theaters in June 2016. The news comes a couple of months after it was revealed that Rosamund Pike would be joining the ensemble cast of new and returning actors for the movie.

Now You See Me 3 may be the first major release in November 2025 and establish how the holiday box office will be.

While the first two movies may not have been critical darlings, there has been a fair amount of anticipation from audiences for Now You See Me 3‘s eventual release, particularly after where the sequel left the core cast of characters. Not only were the Four Horsemen finally accepted into The Eye and learn their leader to be Morgan Freeman’s Thaddeus Bradley, but also teased the early planning of their next heist. Excitement grew even further when it was confirmed that Isla Fisher would be returning for Now You See Me 3, though Lizzy Caplan’s absence has left some disappointed. Beyond the long wait for the movie’s arrival, though, Now You See Me 3‘s November 2025 release date seems primed to rise to be one of the biggest hits for the franchise yet. At the time of writing, the only other major releases set for said month are the Marvel Cinematic Universe reboot of Blade, which releases a week prior, Disney’s Zootopia 2 and Universal’s Wicked: Part Two, both of which debut two weeks after the threequel. However, given the recent developmental struggles Blade has encountered, Now You See Me 3 may be the first major release in November 2025 and establish how the holiday box office will be.

With the first two movies in the franchise having seen summer arrivals, Now You See Me 3‘s Holiday 2025 release date is a bit of an experiment for the threequel. However, given Summer 2025 is already packed with the likes of Marvel’s Thunderbolts*Mission: Impossible 8Karate Kid, the live-action How To Train Your Dragon and James Gunn’s Superman, among many others, avoiding an already-cluttered schedule would give it the best chance at success. Now that a release date is set, it also seems likely that a filming start will be announced soon, potentially with a group shot of the Four Horsemen actors back in character.

The first two Now You See Me movies are available to stream on Max.
