Kim Kardashian‘s character Siobhan Corbyn slapped her actress client when she said she wanted to drop out of the Oscar’s race on Wednesday’s mid-season premiere of American Horror Story: Delicate on FX.
The 43-year-old reality star on season 12 of the horror anthology series portrays a savvy publicist for pregnant actress Anna Victoria Alcott [Emma Roberts] amid awards season in Hollywood.
Anna confided to Siobhan that she felt like someone was coming after her baby and said she could no longer keep campaigning for an Oscar, prompting Siobhan to reach over and slap her in the face.
‘I will not let you f***ing say another word about quitting,’ Siobhan said after slapping Anna. ‘Let go of your dream? To protect your baby? Is that what you think your baby wants? An unfulfilled mother secretly resents its own existence? Is that what your mother died for? F*** that. I don’t want to hurt you, but what I really don’t want is to see you hurting yourself.’
Anna then looked at a television and saw a news report that Siobhan’s boyfriend Hamish had just been found dead in an apparent suicide.

‘Wow, such a bummer,’ Siobhan said coldly. ‘Be really good press for the movie, though.’
Anna told her she didn’t know and she didn’t know who she was anymore.
‘I told you something was happening,’ Anna said.
‘I know I’ve been so focused on award season that I forgot to be a friend,’ Siobhan said. ‘I’m sorry but I’m here and I’m going to help you with anything you need. I will personally disembowel anyone that tries to hurt you. I promise.’
The part two premiere episode titled Opening Night started with a flashback to Anna’s childhood in White Plains, New York in 1988.
Her mother Margaret was holding her and singing Rock-A-Bye Baby to her. Margaret told her husband that she thought she needed to go to the doctor because she had a pain in her leg that wouldn’t go away.
‘You are okay,’ he said.
During the night, Margaret started coughing and then stopped. Mr. Alcott tried to wake her. He then took Margaret to the hospital carrying the baby and was told that she died from an embolism. Anna started crying and a nurse named Nicolette picked up Anna and started singing her the same lullaby.

Anna during the horror series has been struggling with her pregnancy, fears of a stalker and the pressure of awards season
The show then flashed forward to Anna waking up in her bed and being told by Siobhan that actress Babette Eno had been decapitated in a car crash.
‘It’s so tragic,’ Siobhan said.
‘What happened?’ Anna asked.
One of Siobhan’s assistants Ashley said that Babette ‘was giving her limo driver fellatio and she drove into a tree.’ Ashley said with Babette dead that meant that Anna was back on ‘Gold Derby’s Best Actress Oscar nom poll.’
Anna said that Babette could still be nominated even if she was dead.
‘Yeah but she won’t win,’ Siobhan said. ‘Too sad.’
Ashley told her that they got her the headline speaker spot at Babette’s funeral.
‘I barely knew her,’ Anna said.

Ashley decided to go. Siobhan met Anna’s plane when it landed, picking her up in a Rolls Royce.
‘I’m surprised how well you look,’ Siobhan said.
Siobhan then broke the news to her that she had been nominated for a SAG award.
‘Honey yes!’ Siobhan said. ‘Such a tragedy about that Babette. She was so young.’
Anna gave the speech at Babette’s funeral. She said she didn’t feel like she deserved the SAG nomination but if she won that she would dedicate it to Babette.
‘She was not just my competition, she was my friend,’ Anna said.

Afterwards, Anna returned to her house and saw that a window had been left open and black cat ran out of the house. Anna followed it into the garden where it was staring at a broken doll.
Anna picked up the cat and it scratched her across the face and ran off. Anna then picked up the doll and carried it down to the basement and put it in a cradle filled with other dolls.
Dexter Harding Jr., Anna’s husband [Matt Czuchry], met with his father and worried what he should do about his mother. His father instead told him that his first wife was a keeper.
Nicolette, Talia’s house manager [Michaela Jae Rodriguez], woke up Anna and told her she had something to show her and gave her another ‘Anna’ doll that she found on her doorstep.
‘Do you think someone is trying to give you some sort of message?’ Nicolette said.
The cat walked in the house and Nicolette said she found the stray cat and named it Felix. Anna took the doll down the basement and started mapping out where all the dolls had been found.
‘I heated up the pool for you,’ Nicolette said. ‘I bet your little guy loves it when Mommy takes him into the water.’
‘How did you know it was a boy?’ Anna said.

His father instead told him that his first wife was a keeper.
‘All of the women in my family have a sixth sense about this kind of thing,’ Nicolette said.
Anna went swimming and then a claw came out of her stomach. Anna ran out of the pool to Dexter but didn’t tell him about what happened. Dexter told her she didn’t need to go to the opening, but she said she would. Anna pulled open her robe and saw were claw marks on her stomach.
Siobhan met up with film director Hamish Moss who told her he was breaking up with her. He then poured gasoline over the Auteur script and said he couldn’t live with himself knowing he didn’t really write it. He then burned the script and said he was going to the press and telling them everything.
‘I need to do the right thing,’ he said.
‘Honey in show business, no one does the right thing,’ Siobhan said.
Anna went to the opening and asked Talia Donovan [Juliana Canfield] why she didn’t install security cameras in the basement.

‘It’s just the basement, darling,’ Talia said. ‘I doubt your little stalker will crawl through there.’
Anna told Talia that she saw a weird moving light in the basement.
‘You’ve been watching me and you are trying to cover it up,’ Anna said.
Talia denied it.
‘Why don’t you just say it you have resented me ever since Dex and I started dating simply because I am not her,’ Anna said.
Talia said she was the reason that Dexter started dating her. Anna then went to the bathroom and washed her hands but saw that the bump on her chin was worse. A woman came up to her in the bathroom, Anna pushed her away and the woman fell on her head and the floor was covered in blood.
‘You really thought you pushed me hard enough to kill me?’, the woman said. ‘You stupid b****.’

The woman took off her shoes and limped towards her. Anna ran out of the bathroom and into Ivy Ehreneich [Cara Delevigne].
‘What did you do to my baby?’ Anna said. ‘When you pretended to be the nurse.’
‘I’m just an intern here at the gallery,’ Ivy said.
‘I know that you are f***ing lying,’ Anna said.
Sonia Shawcross, an artist [Annabelle Dexter Jones] appeared and kissed Anna’s scratch, the blister on her chin and her red hands and the marks just went away. Sonia then showed Anna a red painting and told her she wanted to give it to her.
Anna looked at the painting and heard a baby crying. She then started to hear voices and chanting in Latin.
She turned around and Talia, Ivy and Sonia were wearing the same shoes, chanting, and walking in a circle around her.
Sonia then showed Anna a red painting and told her she wanted to give it to her
Siobhan appeared and it seemed Anna was just imagining things.
‘Let’s get you out of here,’ Siobhan said.
Meanwhile, Dexter rushed home and found his mother in a tub filled with blood and on the mirror it said in blood ‘I tried to warn you.’
American Horror Story: Delicate will return next Wednesday on FX.
