Kim Kardashian took part in Variety’s Actors on Actors interview with Chloë Sevigny but has unfortunately found herself at the wrong end of some harsh backlash.
Fans think they have sussed out Kim Kardashian’s cunning plan to get herself on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The reality TV star was a guest on Variety’s Actors on Actors interview along with Feud: Capote vs. The Swans star Chloë Sevigny.
Chloe, 49, and Kim, 43, interviewed each other about acting having both appeared in Ryan Murphy’s hit horror series American Horror Story.
Despite putting on an impressive show, alongside Emma Roberts, in the HBO Max show earlier this year, Kim was denied a star on the Walk of Fame because she is mainly only on reality TV.
The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce released a statement saying: “We’re happy to consider reality stars once they get nominated for, or win, an Emmy, Grammy, or Oscar. We’ll consider them when they are legitimate actors or singers.”
Kim appeared in an Actors on Actors interview with Chloë Sevigny
While Kim is no stranger to keeping fans entertained with her family dramas on The Kardashians, she has appeared in acting roles such as Temptation: Confessions of a Marriage Counselor (2013), Paw Patrol: the Movie (2021), Deep in the Valley (2009), and American Horror Story: Delicate (2023 to 2024).
However, the SKIMS founder has yet to win an award for acting.
This hasn’t stopped fans from thinking Kim hasn’t got another trick up her sleeve to secure such an accolade.
Taking to a Reddit thread, where people were discussing her Actors on Actors interview, one fan wrote: “Kim is definitely plotting to get a star by acting in more things.”
Kim has had a few acting stints in recent weeks, including a role on American Horror Story

A second user @Spamelagranderson chimed in: “This is what happens when you are rich, delusional and surrounded by people that say yes.”
As @Realistic-Treacle-65 claimed: “She just embarrassed herself. And stole this opportunity from other talented real actors.”
“She doesn’t belong there. There’s a difference in doing some guest appearances and act in AHS for a season or two vs being a highly valued actress by the academy. That’s like putting JLO in a room with Mariah, Celine and Whitney…” @Icy_Chemist_5693 replied.
While @Aletak added: “Appearing in a television series or a movie does not make you an actor. Reading law books does not make you a lawyer. Putting bandages on her fingers does not make her a doctor. Can she just go away?”
A celebrity has to be nominated for a Walk of Fame star and can also donate money towards it.
