KENDALL Jenner has left fans unimpressed with her much-anticipated outfit at the Met Gala.

The Kardashians star was blasted for looking boring on a night where creativity shined.

Kendall, 28, showed up to fashion’s biggest night in a full length black gown that was cut in half at her waist, exposing some of her back and butt.

The top cut low down her chest, exposing her cleavage.

The Givenchy Haute Couture gown came from the fall-winter 1999 collection.

It has never been worn before, the designer revealed, having only been presented on a bust form.

The dress required 500 hours to hand-embroider the more than 100,000 beads and sequins.

After the Gala, it will go back to the Givenchy archives.

But many critics would have liked it to have stayed there, as they expressed on X, formerly Twitter.

“Boring and disappointing,” one person tweeted, as another agreed, “Basic and boring. Don’t bother showing up next time.”

“That dress looks so cheap,” another lamented. “Can’t she afford anything?”

“Lovely outfit, but I expected more from her,” one person stated.

“She’s served better looks getting a coffee,” another slammed.

Kendall was just the first of her famous sisters to arrive at the event.

Not long after, big sister Kim showed up, and showed off, in a sparkling silver dress.

The Margiela by John Galliano gown pinched at her stomach, eliminating her waist, before opening up down her legs in silver sequins.

Met Gala 2024 Theme

The theme of the 2024 Met Gala is The Garden of Time, which draws inspiration from the latest exhibition of the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, titled Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion.

The top barely covered her chest, showing off much of her cleavage, and requiring a sweater to cover up.

However many wondered if the 43-year-old was ready for the evening.

“She looks like she just woke up,” one person tweeted about Kim.

“Is she okay?” another wondered.

“All that, and she couldn’t do her hair?” a third critiqued.

KYLIE, TOO

Even Kylie Jenner couldn’t catch a break with critics.

After arriving in an ivory colored Oscar de la Renta gown with cone-shaped chest covering and flowing train behind her, the 26-year-old was dragged across X.

“Goddess of disappointment?” one person tweeted.

“That train is in a bad position,” another added.

“I was hoping for more,” noted a third.

The Kardashian clan has attended multiple Met Galas in the past, despite some of the siblings being snubbed in recent years.

Last year, Kim and her younger sisters, Kylie, 26, and Kendall were all present for the event.
