Kate Middleton has reportedly become the hot topic across the pond, stealing the limelight from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry who haven’t made much of a splash in Los Angeles, according to an insider.
Harry and Meghan moved over to California in 2020 after deciding to resign from their roles as senior royals.
But despite living in Montecito for nearly five years, they’ve “dropped out of the conversations” in the States, a confidante and adviser to the Royal Family reckons, falling behind Kate who has been going through treatment for cancer.
A source spilled the beans to The Times and said: “What they haven’t been able to do is create a public presence that’s respected and popular.”

“I was in LA recently and was struck by how they’re not the topic of conversation.”
“People are more interested in the King and Kate’s health. Harry and Meghan have dropped out of the convo.”
Kate went through a major abdominal surgery this January and spent two weeks recovering at the London Clinic hospital.
In March, she disclosed in a video message that she had cancer.

Kate, a mom of three, also mentioned she was having preventative chemo treatments.
In February, King Charles made public his own battle with an undisclosed type of cancer and was receiving treatment similar to Kate.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle landed in Cali, southwest Colombia, on August 18 to wrap up their tour of South America.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex received a warm welcome from the locals in Cali, a city famous for its lively street parties, rumba and salsa dancing, and colourful parades.
During their visit, the Royal couple took part in a forum designed to celebrate and empower Afro-Colombian women, where Meghan gave a speech.
