The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live episode 3 spoilers follow.
The Walking Dead actress Danai Gurira has responded to the cliffhanger ending of The Ones Who Live’s latest episode.
Things went from bad to worse for Rick and Michonne in the newest instalment, as he tried to get her away from the CRM and back to Alexandria, but she refused to go without him. They also ended their relationship after she breached protocol during a walker fight and Pearl nearly killed her for it.
But if all that wasn’t enough, the episode ended with the pair in a helicopter going through a thunderstorm, which is where Michonne grabbed Rick and pulled them both out of it. Why did she do that?
“That’s the question,” Gurira told TVLine. “It’s a big question mark.”
The actress insists that Rick and Michonne have not died, stating that they “do fall into water.”
After she joked that the show may not have the budget to show that, Rick actor Andrew Lincoln chimed in to say, “There is a shot of them falling into water”, but added that it would be a quick one.
The duo also ominously stated that episode 4 would be a “reckoning” and it was time to “work out what’s going on.”
The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live airs on Sunday nights on AMC and streams through AMC+ in the United States. The parent show is available to stream on STAR on Disney+ in the UK, but a UK broadcaster for The Ones Who Live and other spin-offs have not been confirmed yet.
