Agatha All Along is the latest show in the MCU and was a big hit, thanks to its fun, quirky style and the introduction of many interesting magical characters. Most characters had their storylines wrapped up, but the main characters, Billy Maximoff and Agatha Harkness, didn’t get full closure.
By the end of the show, Billy knows about his powers and who his mother is, and the story hints that he is planning to find his twin brother, Tommy.
Agatha’s story seems to end when she dies in the second-to-last episode, but she returns as a ghost, ready to help Billy on what seems like the most important journey of his life.
After the season finale, many rumors started circulating about a second season for the show and a standalone series for Wiccan. Industry insider Alex Perez has shared more details about these rumors.
First, about Tommy Maximoff: we know he hasn’t been cast yet and only appeared briefly in the show, with his story left as a tease. Perez says Tommy’s story won’t be part of Vision Quest. Instead, it will be saved for Billy and Agatha to explore later.
This makes sense, as Vision Quest is part of the WandaVision trilogy, focusing on Vision’s story.
Not that I’m hearing. Tommy is being saved up for Billy and Agatha to find, from what I’ve been told.
He’s not sure if Billy Kaplan/Maximoff will have a big role in Avengers: Doomsday. He hasn’t heard much about Billy being involved, but if other Young Avengers are included, Billy might appear too.
I haven’t heard much about Billy, if I’m being honest. I’m not sure if he’s in it, but if the other Young Avengers pop up, who’s to say he doesn’t?
Perez also said that the rumored Wiccan project and Agatha All Along season 2 are actually the same. The plan is to make a sequel where Ghost Agatha and Billy team up to find Tommy.
I’ll be frank with you: The rumored Wiccan project and this Agatha All Along season 2 thing are one and the same. The idea is to develop a sequel project where Ghost Agatha and Billy go on an adventure to find Tommy.

This makes sense because Agatha’s story in the future wouldn’t work without Billy. It would also be unnecessary to create separate shows for both characters when the final episode clearly hinted they would work together moving forward.
Agatha All Along season 2 hasn’t been confirmed yet, but Brad Winderbaum, Marvel’s head of Television and Streaming, has said the team is excited to bring more WandaVision stories to fans.
