Kylie Jenner has discussed how her looks have ‘never been accepted’.
Since shooting to fame at the tender age of nine on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, the make-up mogul, 26, has faced scrutiny over her changing looks – with heavy emphasis on her plumped up lips and the lies surrounding her pout.
The star has been slammed for lying about having fillers, before confessing the truth and making millions from her Kylie Lip Kits.
Speaking candidly in an interview with The New York Times, she said: ‘It’s just years and years of not feeling like my face or looks are accepted. There’s nothing anyone could ever say now that would hurt me.’
Speculation over her lips came in 2015, when she admitted to having fillers in May of that year having shown off fuller lips since she was 16.

After initially claiming clever make-up trickery was the secret behind her transformation, she later admitted on KUWTK: ‘I have had temporary lip fillers’.
Her supportive sister Khloe Kardashian defended her sibling, adding: ‘Kylie decided to plump her lips and I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.’
In one of her many defenses, Kylie discussed her changing image.
She said: ‘You guys have watched me grow up since I was nine. My face is going to get different. Now, I know how to do my makeup, contour and everything. I’m not against surgery. I’d never say no, but I don’t desire it right now.’
Last year, Kylie dismissed surgery claims and insisted she’s only had lip fillers despite her significant facial transformation over the years.
The youngest of The Kardashian/Jenner sisters discussed her appearance on the penultimate episode of Hulu’s The Kardashians.
Kylie shared in a confessional segment: ‘We all have our little things, so it’s normal to be insecure sometimes, but I always just remember being like the most confident kid in the room. I always loved myself, I still love myself.’
‘One of the biggest misconceptions about me is that I was like this insecure child and I got so much surgery to change my whole face, which is false.’

‘I’ve only gotten fillers, and I feel like I don’t want that to be a part of my story. I will always want everyone to just love themselves.’
In 2017 during an episode of Life of Kylie, the mother-of-one opened up about her decision to get the procedure, noting: ‘I was 15 and I was insecure about my lips … I [had] really small lips.’
Kylie built a billion dollar business on her pout, which she dramatically enhanced over the years with lip fillers and over-lining lip liner.
In the chat, Kylie also responded to claims she transformed her super-glam look for her boyfriend of one year Timothée Chalamet.
She spoke about how she has changed her look, saying: ‘I don’t have this thick mane down to my butt, I don’t have lash extensions, I don’t have these long claws.’

When asked if her new look was to do with her trendy boyfriend, amid shock over their romance due to his arty status and her mainstream vibe, she insisted she has overhauled her look in the wake of having her two children.
Kylie, who has been candid about her battle with postpartum depression, shares Stormi, six, Aire, two, with her ex Travis Scott, and claimed her transformation is merely a depiction of catching up on trends in wake of having a baby.
While she was reluctant to discuss their relationship, Kylie stated: ‘I don’t know how I feel about that’, in regards to the change in her looks relating to Timothée.
