Sadly for the witcher, they pull a bait-and-switch and make him pay for trying to have both women. Some fans wish you could truly have the opportunity for a polyamorous relationship with the two powerful sorceresses, but sadly, it’s not meant to be.

Depending on your focus in the game, you might not even realize you can go to the brothels and become a “patron.” There are also multiple brothels in the game and you’ll have the option of spending the night with several different women of choice in each one.

There are many fans who wish they could have the option of playing Geralt gay in the game. That’s not uncommon, other RPGs like Assassin’s Creed recently allowed players the option of changing their character’s sexuality.

A lot of fans ship Geralt with Vesemir, Letho, and even Dandelion. Now that the Netflix series has released, there are also a lot of people who like the idea of Geralt and Jaskier. So it’s not at all surprising that there are fans who wish they had male romantic options in The Witcher 3.

4Didn’t Know: Geralt And Syanna

While this is considered one of the more notable romances in the game, mainly because of the… unique scene that plays out between the two characters, it can be easy to miss if you decide not to get the DLCs or to play them.

Heart of Stone is a little different since it doesn’t add to the map much but Blood and Wine introduces a new region with Toussaint. If you decide to pursue Syanna, it’s a fun, but complicated journey that can be very rewarding.

3We Wish: Geralt And Tomira

You’ll meet Tomira early in the game, while you’re still in White Orchard. She works as an herbalist and Geralt and Tomira hit it off immediately.

You’re even given a lot of surprising dialogue options to learn quite a bit about Tomira’s background, and you get to learn what happens to her at the end of the game too, which can be affected by what decisions you make in the third act of the main game. Tomira is pretty to look at and she and Geralt have chemistry, it would have been a fun early-game romance.

2Didn’t Know: Geralt And Shani

Like the romance with Syanna, you can only romance Shani if you decide to get the DLC Hearts of Stone. Shani is actually an old friend of Geralt’s that you might know quite a bit about if you read the books before playing the game.

Shani is an intelligent and skilled medic. She’s also a fan-favorite character and there are several players who wish that Shani could have been one of the main romance options alongside Triss and Yennefer. It would be a shame for anyone to miss out on the chance to romance her.

1We Wish: Geralt And Margarita Laux-Antille

Margarita Laux-Antille is another powerful sorceress who almost winds up getting killed by Radovid, luckily Geralt and Yennefer are able to rescue her in time. She’s a beautiful woman and certainly seems like Geralt’s type.

Given that you don’t meet her until pretty late in the game, it’s understandable why you wouldn’t be able to romance her but many fans were still disappointed by that fact as they found her to be interesting and wanted her to have a larger role in the game.
