Fans have many questions about the upcoming series Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol; here are just five of them we want answers to.

Fan expectations have been high following the success of The Walking Dead internationally. That high expectation has remained in the following years since the conclusion of the main show back in 2022, and what an ending it was. Bring’s tears to my eyes!

We are lucky as a fan base to continue to have the incredible teams behind TWD bring us new spin-offs that continue to excite us. These have given us further access to ongoing stories for old and new characters and have the potential to keep growing, with content officer Scott Gimple even saying there may be a show that reunites the main protagonists.

The next adventure we have to look forward to is Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol, which airs this summer. There are so many questions that fans want the answers to within the episodes. Below are just five of them.

Daryl Dixon: The Book of Carol, fan questions

5. Will Carol confirm who returned?

Carol (Melissa McBride) managed to get through to Daryl (Norman Reedus) on the radio and shared information that a mystery person had returned, but who was she talking about? Could it be Rick Grimes and Michonne or maybe even Morgan Jones who crossed over into the series Fear The Walking Dead? Hopefully, this series will bring us clarity but I could be certain that it is Grimes himself.

4. Will Carol want to stay in France with Daryl if she makes it?

During the first series of Daryl Dixon, it became rather apparent that Daryl may have loved France so much that he wanted to stay and not return to his old life in Virginia. His time on another continent has brought him new friends, maybe a new love interest, and has even led him to become a kind of father figure to Laurent (Louis Puech Scigliuzzi ), which is a fair distance away from the life he had before. If Carol unites with him, maybe they can become godparents to Laurent and live happily ever after watching the coastal sunset.

3. Will other familiar characters appear?

TWDU has been no stranger to crossing over some fan favorites from show to show. Jadis, Judith, RJ, and Morgan are just a few characters to have travelled to other branches in the franchise, enriching the stories deeper with their long-running arcs. I have always wanted to see the main protagonists from Fear TWD crossover more and would love to see Madison Clark (Kim Dickens) appear at some point with a few original TWD main characters, even though she was headed to Los Angeles, they might as well detour to France right?

2. Could Carol view Daryl differently?

The Ones Who Live is the most recent spin-off to grace our screens, and fans were shocked to have seen so many altercations between Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and Michonne (Danai Gurira) in the series. The main reason is because of how much Rick had changed in his years spent living within the CRM. Will there be a similar situation with The Book of Carol if she gets to France and Daryl doesn’t want to be found?

1. Will they reunite?

I sure hope so! From the teasers and trailers, it appears nothing will stop or get in the way of Carol’s quest to find her oldest apocalyptic friend. But as we all know, nothing is guaranteed and anything can happen.

I cannot wait for this series, and it is great to finally see Carol back and catch up with Daryl’s story. Let’s hope they both find each other safe and sound! It’s going to be emotional!
