At 58 years of age and with no apparent financial problems, Iron Mike, one of the most iconic heavyweight champions in boxing history, decided to fight an influencer turned professional boxer in recent years.

Paul’s reasons for facing the sledgehammer blow of Tyson’s fists can perhaps be explained: the 27-year-old wants to gain fame and continue to add millions to his wealth, but what about Tyson?

Owner of a cannabis company (Tyson 2.0), Tyson adds a good amount of dollars to his bank account every day, it is estimated that Iron Mike’s net worth is around $10 million, while his earnings from this fight, regardless of the final result, could amount to around $20 million.

“I could be waiting for a check every day from cannabis,” Tyson said. “Sometimes I want to see who I really am. I want to see what I’m really made of. I’m a man. … I want to go out and I want to expose myself to risks.”

The fight was originally scheduled for July, but an outbreak of ulcers on Tyson’s part forced the fight to be postponed until next Friday, on a card that will be broadcast via Netflix.

“I just want to do this, I plan on doing this for a while,” Tyson said. “I just want to do this, I plan on doing this for a while. This is what I want to do.”

Tyson is undoubtedly one of the best heavyweight fighters in history, and one of the most spectacular, while Paul, known as a famous YouTuber, has shown remarkable growth as a boxer and is trying to become world champion, but his true level may be exhibited next Friday against the punching power of Iron Mike.
