The Indianapolis Colts star Richardson returned in his first game since suffering a season-ending shoulder injury last season.

The Florida Gators’ product threw a 60-yard touchdown pass to wideout Alec Pierce to give the Colts the early lead over the Texans.

Richardson even slipped slightly before recovering and throwing the towering pass.

Pressure was also coming his way before the throw.

He found Pierce who blew past Derek Stinley Jr. and Jimmie Ward.

The pass was thrown 58 air yards downfield, per ESPN.

It was the fifth time that touchdown has been thrown that far since 2006.

NFL fans were amazed by Richardson’s pass in the first game of the season.

“Arm strength is crazy,” one commented.

“Holy smokes what a pass,” a second wrote.

“That boy got a cannon,” a third added.

“It’s officially AR season,” a fourth stated.

Richardson started four games in 2023 before sustaining an AC joint sprain injury.

He missed the rest of the campaign.
