Eminem’s music videos for “River” feat. Ed Sheeran and “Shake That” feat. Nate Dogg have officially crossed the milestone of 200 million views on YouTube.
“River”, released as part of Eminem’s “Revival” album in 2017, features the pop star Ed Sheeran and explores themes of regret, relationships, and redemption. The song became a massive commercial success, reaching No.1 in four countries and the top 10 in a dozen others.
Interestingly, while the audio version has already amassed over 219 million views on YouTube, the music video is rapidly catching up and nearly doubling the daily streams of the audio. At this pace, it’s set to surpass the audio’s count soon.
Meanwhile, “Shake That”, a classic collaboration with the late Nate Dogg from Eminem’s 2005 “Curtain Call: The Hits” compilation, has also crossed 200 million views. Known for its laid-back West Coast vibes and Nate Dogg’s signature smooth vocals, the track became a party anthem and has continued to be in demand nearly two decades later, reaching about 80,000 daily views on YouTube.
