NEW Orleans Saints star quarterback Derek Carr has been given an eye-popping fine for a touchdown celebration in Week 2.

The Pro Bowler was fined by commissioner Roger Goodell for the gesture during the team’s 44-19 win over the Dallas Cowboys – and fans have put the NFL on blast as a result.

During the first half, Carr executed a QB sneak touchdown to give the Saints a 35-13 lead.

After reaching the end zone, the 33-year-old did his best Michael Jackson impression, doing a leg kick and following that up with a crotch grab.

On Thursday, the NFL handed Carr a $14,000 for the gesture.

However, the officials didn’t give him a penalty for his antics at the time.

Plenty of social media users raged about the league’s fine on Carr.

“No Fun League strikes again,” one wrote.

“This is ridiculous,” another said.

“NFL getting too soft,” a third added.

“Let Carr entertain sheesh,” a fourth commented.

Carr spoke about his dance performance during his postgame conference.

“I’m a dancer in my day,” Carr said on Sunday.

“Don’t let the four kids fool you.

“I had to lure their mama in somehow.”

Carr has made close to $200 million in his career, so the fine will not put a dent in his pocket.

And he had plenty of reasons to dance through the first two games of the still-young NFL campaign.

The 2-0 Saints have scored 91 points so far this season.

And Carr has looked rejuvenated under new offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak.

He has thrown for 443 yards, five touchdowns, and just one interception.

New Orleans will host the 1-1 Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday.

Philadelphia is coming off a brutal 22-21 Monday Night Football loss to the Atlanta Falcons.
