Praise be because it turns out Lucas Bravo also thinks the long hair look on Gabriel during Emily in Paris really isn’t a vibe and has fully acknowledged it “look like sh*t.”

And for those, like myself, who have been secretly praying that he’ll undergo a huge glow up next season and return to his season one short hair roots I have bad news. Lucas Bravo revealed the long hair is here to stay and he’s actually planning on growing it out even more for future seasons of Emily in Paris. Yikes.

During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Lucas was asked whether he thinks Gabriel’s long hair is actually “his villain origin story.” He replied: “I have been trying to have longer hair on the show since season one. And since only one day passes [between seasons three and four], if I need to have long hair on a season then I need to go through the transition phase where you have sh*t hair and it doesn’t look like anything.”

He admitted his season four hair was “sacrificed” so it would look better next season but knows that “people don’t like it.” He explained: “So [I decided] to sacrifice season four in order to have long hair in season five. I just wanted something different.

“I am always clean-shaven and five months of [constantly] shaving is not very nice for your skin or your soul. So, I was trying to get scruffy, but I don’t think people like it.”
