KANSAS City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes turns out to be the talkative one on the team’s roster.

On Monday, the Chiefs shared a clip of the quarterback being mic’d up in practice, captioned, “QB1’s got jokes.”

And it seems like Mahomes, 28, hardly stops talking.

In the clip, the two-time NFL MVP could be seen getting hyperexcited by simply handing the ball to running back Isiah Pacheco.

“Out the gate! Out the gate!” the Texas Tech product yelled, his voice going haywire.

Next, Mahomes appeared to be poking fun at linebacker CJ Hanson’s “crooked finger.”

At some point, the Chiefs signal-caller realized he forgot to put his pants pads on.

“Maybe he’ll think my quads are so big that they look like pants,” he joked.

Mahomes also chuckled at himself, claiming he felt old after failing to recognize a song that blasted from the speaker.

And he boasted about his grilling skills in a conversation with Travis Kelce.

Later on, the quarterback shared the clip and noted his talkativeness in an X post.

“I be out there just talking about nothing,” he wrote.

But fans loved Mahomes’ goofiness.

“We love you QB1. Never change,” one commented.

“Omg,” another wrote, adding a laughing emoji.

“You’re like my kid that never quits asking me questions!” a third said.

The Chiefs lost their preseason opener 26-13 to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Saturday.

Mahomes appeared on the field, completing three of his four pass attempts for 27 yards.

Kansas City is set to face the Detroit Lions next on Saturday, August 17.

The defending Super Bowl champions will then play the Chicago Bears on Thursday, August 22.

Two weeks later, on Thursday, September 5, they will officially kick off the 2024 NFL regular season with a clash against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
