AMC has announced the Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete Collection release date, unveiling a brand new bundle collecting the entire series of the AMC spinoff series.
When is the Fear the Walking Dead: The Complete Collection release date?
The large collection is officially set to release on October 15, 2024, and will retail for $119.99 for the Blu-ray and digital collections of the series. A DVD version of the bundle will also be available for $94.98.
Originally premiering the 2015, Fear the Walking Dead began as a prequel to the hit AMC series The Walking Dead, before running concurrently with the show in its later seasons. The series followed a blended family who make their way through the zombie apocalypse that the entire series is set around.
Fear the Walking Dead ran for a total of eight seasons, and aired 113 episodes. The show starred Kim Dickens, Cliff Curtis, Frank Dillane, and Alycia Debnam-Carey in its initial three seasons. A soft reboot of the show in Season 4 introduced Colman Domingo, Mercedes Mason, Rubén Blades, Danay García, Maggie Grace, Garret Dillahunt, Jenna Elfman, Alexa Nisenson, Karen David, Austin Amelio, Mo Collins, and Christine Evangelista into the series.
“Fear the Walking Dead is a post-apocalyptic horror-drama series set in the universe of The Walking Dead,” reads the show’s synopsis. “It begins in Los Angeles with Madison Clark and her children, Nick and Alicia, in the early days of a zombie apocalypse. As society collapses, they encounter various threats from walkers and other survivors, and in Season Four, collide with the world of “The Walking Dead” when Morgan Jones joins the story. Over eight seasons, the group – including characters like Victor Strand and Daniel Salazar – travels through California, Mexico, and Texas facing enemies far more sinister than the undead, while working to rebuild a sense of hope and community in a devastated world.
Fear the Walking Dead was executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, showrunners Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg, as well as Robert Kirkman, David Alpert, Gale Ann Hurd, and Greg Nicotero. It was produced by AMC Studios.
