Khloé Kardashian is facing criticism from fans after announcing her 6-year-old daughter True’s new collaboration with a pajama brand.
On Monday, June 3, Kardashian revealed on Instagram that her daughter will be “the new face” of the brand Zip N’ Bear.
“Hey guys, I have an announcement,” True began in the clip while surrounded by stuffed bears. “I’m the face of Zip N’ Bear!” Kardashian, who shares True and son Tatum with ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson, then chimed in and said, “True is so excited to be the new face of Zip N’ Bear. She loves these jams and she’s more excited about the fact that Little Zippy, who you can snuggle and cuddle with, has matching pajamas.” True then told viewers they can “buy the bear and you can wear matching pajamas.”
“🧸🤎 @zipnbear I’m so happy for my sweet True! 🧸🤎,” the Good American founder captioned the post.
Although the comments were flooded with praise from friends—”True true train I die for you 🐻 ❤️,” close family friend Khadijah Haqq McCray wrote, while Lala Anthony added, “The sweetest ❤️❤️❤️awwwww so beautiful ❤️❤️”—there were also some detractors in the comment section.
“You never hear about these kids’ education … it’s all about frickn media & money. You Kardashians… these kids are gonna be a piece of work,” one user wrote. Another said, “Wtf she’s a kid shouldn’t be working.” A third user chimed in, “Why don’t you teach her about helping others and donate proceeds to charity?”
Despite the criticism, Thompson shared his support for his daughter on social media as well. “My Tutu looks soo beautiful,” he wrote alongside a repost of the reality star’s post. “Let’s goo @zipnbear.”
This isn’t the first time Kardashian has faced social media backlash concerning her children. She was recently accused of editing photos of her kids before posting them online.
