Kit Harington’s superstitious belief is both comedic and disgusting at the same time!

The heroic character of Jon Snow in HBO’s Game of Thrones is played by the iconic actor Kit Harington. He is also known for starring in MCU’s Eternals as Black Knight aka Dane Whitman. Although he plays such heroic roles, Harington is, after all, a simple human being… with some weird habits.

Kit Harington Scratches His Balls Every Time He Sees An Ambulance!

We cannot make this up even if we want to. Yes, the iconic Game of Thrones scratches his private parts every time he sees an ambulance. Although a clear story as to how Harington got the habit hasn’t been clear, the Eternals actor revealed that he does it every time he sees an ambulance.

Starring in movies like Pompeii and Eternals, Harington made a name for himself as a brave hero and a knight in shining armor. However, moments like these create the difference between the fictional realm and reality. Sitting alongside Jimmy Fallon in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Harington talked about his odd habits.

Calling himself as an “OCD galore” Harington revealed that he would scratch his private parts every time he saw an ambulance. Kit Harington called it a traditional belief, that it’s good luck for the person inside, and the interview is indeed hilarious!

“I’m horribly superstitious. I’m really- I’ve got OCD galore. And really like nonsensical ones as well. Well I… I have to scratch my balls every time I see an ambulance. Like apparently, it’s good luck for the person inside and I thought that was a nice thing”

When Jimmy Fallon said that this was not a thing at all and he had never heard about this belief, here’s what Harington had for a reply:

“It’s an Italian tradition. Someone lied to me” 

However, this wasn’t the end of the matter. When Jimmy Fallon pulled out a toy ambulance from under the desk, Kit Harington sighed and actually scratched his private parts! The video ended with Jimmy Fallon and the audience laughing and Harington being just a little bit embarrassed!

On the other hand, the Pompeii actor once revealed that he is not interested in playing the good-guy roles anymore. Stating that they are too tough to portray, Kit Harington revealed that he would love to be the bad guy in future projects.

Kit Harington Wants To Be The Bad Guy

Portraying roles like Jon Snow, Young Milo, and, Black Knight, Kit Harington is known for his good-guy roles. What many people don’t know is that the actor has also portrayed the role of a sociopathic drug-slinging arms dealer in Blood for Dust.

In an interview with  Entertainment Weekly, Harington revealed that he is tired of portraying the role of the good guys. Stating that they are quite hard to portray, the actor revealed that negative roles are easier, compared to the protagonist roles!

“He’s sort of a devil-on-the-shoulder character, the antagonist who’s with you all the way through. He’s like a good-time guy in a bad world. He doesn’t want to have to face reality. I rarely get the opportunity to play the Rickys of this world, the antagonistic dirtbag types, and I was excited to be presented with that opposite an actor like Scoot,”

He further continued,

“My heart goes out to people playing heroes. They’re f—ing hard to play and to make interesting. It is more fascinating as an actor, I think, to empathize with someone deeply faulted and wrong, to try and find your way into why they are doing these things.”

On the professional side, Kit Harington was seen portraying the role of Ricky in the 2023 film Blood for Dust. Receiving average ratings, the 2023 film was a failure and currently stands at a rating of 5.2/10 on IMDB but a whopping 78% on Rotten Tomatoes!
