Fans were quick to compare the NFL’s big new analytical minds after Week 1 of the season – and there is seemingly only one winner!
Tom Brady and Jason Kelce both sat down for their first assignments with Fox and ESPN respectively over the past few days, with all eyes on them ready to see whether they’d be as good talking about the game as they were at playing it.
While Brady took a lot of stick for his first game in the booth on Sunday night, it was a very different scenario for Jason Kelce, who fans labeled as ‘brilliant’ after his first stint on Monday Night Countdown.
Within seconds of going on air, Kelce claimed that his ‘t*ts were struggling’ in his shirt, leaving fans in hysterics as they watched on in disbelief from home.
In comparison, Brady was ripped as ‘atrocious’ within 20 minutes of starting, with one fan joking: ‘Maybe someone should have listened to Tom Brady actually say words before dropping $300m on him’.

After Jason Kelce’s debut, the reaction couldn’t have been more different, with TV viewers lavishing praise on his carefree attitude and humorous punditry style.
Taking to X, plenty of fans were quick to compare the pair, with one writing: ‘It’s official, Tom Brady has nothing on Jason Kelce as a football analyst. I give Brady one season tops!’

One X user even ran a poll asking fans to vote for which of the analysts they preferred, and Kelce came out with a whopping 83.3% of the vote.
The pair will go head-to-head again in Week 2 of the NFL season, with Brady and FOX in Arizona to see the Cardinals host the Los Angeles Rams.
Kelce, meanwhile, is back at home in Philly, with his beloved Eagles taking on the Atlanta Falcons.
