Until we Emily in Paris season 5 arrives, we suggest giving the Emily in Paris season 4 bloopers a whirl (you won’t regret it).

Emily in Paris season four might be over, but there’s plenty more where that came from if Netflix’s recently-released blooper reel is anything to go by.

The video, which the streaming service released on its YouTube channel, show the cast of the hit series in-a series of behind-the-scenes bloopers which show them being far from très chic when the cameras aren’t rolling.

The latest blooper reel, which shows the laugh-out-loud moments from behind-the-scenes of the second part of the fourth season, starts with Lily Collins, who plays the titular Emily Cooper, and Eugenio Franceschini, who plays her new Italian beau Marcello Muratori, struggling to get their Vespa on the topsy-turvy cobblestone streets of Rome. We then encounter Ashley Park, who plays Emily’s lovable best friend Mindy, tumbling off a bed triggering a giggle fit for both Collins and Park. There’s also – sacre bleu! – some bleeped-out cursing.

Fans of the show will also be pleased to know that Emily and Mindy are BFFs in real life, too. ‘No matter where we are in the world, we’re sending each other things,’ Collins said in a recent interview of her co-star, before admitting that the close bond they share leads to a lot of funny bloopers while filming.

‘Ashley and I, you can never shut us up when you get us together. So usually our directors are like, “Oh, oh, oh, one second”,’ Collins said. ‘But this season we also got to go skiing in the mountains – well “skiing” – it was more like falling for me. So there’s a lot of outtakes from that, which was hilarious. It didn’t hurt. It was more like, “I can’t believe I’m doing this.”’

While exact plot lines are as yet unclear, the fifth season of Emily in Paris, which was confirmed on September 16, 2024, will focus on Emily’s relationship with Marcello, which Lily Collins, who plays the titular Emily Cooper, spoke about in an interview with Netflix’s Tudum when the fifth series was confirmed.

‘I feel like they have a real spark and a real connection and a real romantic connection. A lot of that’s going to continue to play out next season,’ she said, adding that, while fans of the show are keen for her character to reunite with Gabriel, it doesn’t look likely. ‘Unfortunately, Gabriel has to deal with the repercussions of his choice to end things with her,’ she stated. We anticipate plenty more bloopers ahead.
