Margot Robbie is one of the most prolific actresses working in Hollywood today. She created history when she starred in last year’s Barbie, which became the highest-grossing movie of the year and broke multiple records. She also co-produced the film under her Lucky Chap Entertainment production company.
Robbie has also been widely regarded as one of the most beautiful actresses in Hollywood. But reportedly that did not save her from experiencing a bad date. During a press meet for Suicide Squad, Robbie revealed that she had once been on a date that was so bad that she asked out the waiter instead to escape from it.

Margot Robbie broke into the scene as Naomi in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street. While Robbie had made a name for herself in the Australian soap opera Neighbors, she had her breakthrough with the Leonardo DiCaprio starrer. Since then, Robbie has starred in multiple blockbusters such as The Suicide Squad and the recent Barbie.
Robbie has been known for her insanely good looks apart from her phenomenal acting performances. However, the actress reportedly has had her fair share of bad dates. During the press meet for Suicide Squad, Robbie mentioned that she once had a terrible date, which led her to approach the waiter who was serving them instead.

Margot Robbie recounted the incident with MTV Australia, which also had her co-stars Cara Delevigne and Karen Fukuhara in attendance.
I was once on a date. It was going so bad that I ended up asking out the waiter that was serving us on the date instead. But I asked the guy I was on the date with first. I was like, ‘This is going, like [terribly]. Would you be offended?”. He was like, ‘Go for it’.
The indecent was reportedly not the only time she asked a waiter out on a date. On the Oscars’ Red Carpet, Robbie revealed to Mario Lopez that she once made the first move on a waiter after a dinner. She mentioned that while she was heading out she smoothly asked for his number (via Daily Mail).

While Margot Robbie has impulsively asked out waiters for dates, she claimed that she was always about the single life until she met her husband Tom Ackerley. The two reportedly met on the sets of the film Suite Française, in which Ackerley was an Assistant Director. According to Elle, Robbie decided to move in with some crew members of the film.
Robbie and Ackerly reportedly began a romance while they were roommates and hence, had to keep it a secret from them. Robbie said,
We kept it a secret. Because we weren’t really taking it seriously. “Oh, whatever, we’re just mates, we’re just mates.” And then… everyone found out…I’m not going into the details, but sh*t hit the fan. Our house turned into The Jerry Springer Show for a moment there. But then the dust settled, and it was all good.
After the two married, the couple reportedly finally moved out of the house. The actress mentioned that she was not a relationship person until she met Tom Ackerley. In an interview with Vogue, she said that she hated the idea of relationships until she fell in love with Ackerley, which made her second-guess things. However, it finally worked out.
I was the ultimate single gal. The idea of relationships made me want to vomit. And then this crept up on me. We were friends for so long. I was always in love with him, but I thought, Oh, he would never love me back. Don’t make it weird, Margot. Don’t be stupid and tell him that you like him. And then it happened, and I was like, Of course we’re together. This makes so much sense, the way nothing has ever made sense before.
The two reportedly got married at a private ceremony in Australia. Margot Robbie and Tom Ackerley co-founded the production company Lucky Chap Entertainment which produced Barbie.
