Emily in Paris fans will all be familiar with hunky chef Gabriel, who often finds himself in a love triangle. But what does actor Lucas Bravo’s love life look like off-screen? And is he married?

The ripped abs, the French accent and his skills in the kitchen, there’s a reason Gabriel has become a firm favourite with Emily in Paris fans – so who is the actor behind the hunky chef?

Season four has been packed with drama, incredible outfits and love triangles, with chef Gabriel being front and centre, gracing our screens yet again, even if he did do Camille wrong.

Lucas Bravo, who plays Gabriel, Emily’s neighbour and (occasional) love interest has found himself embroiled once again in the chaos of Emily, Alfie and Camille, but you’ll be pleased to know Lucas’ real love life is a lot less hectic.

The 36-year-old from Nice, France has featured in a number of starring roles throughout the years, but is most notably known for his role in Netflix’s Emily in Paris as Gabriel the chef. Gabriel and Emily have a complicated relationship, but fans will be pleased to know Lucas is infact single – and not married.

Despite his rising fame from the show, Lucas keeps his private life relatively out of the public eye so it’s it’s unclear if he is dating anyone, but as the actor hasn’t been pictured with anyone, or ever spoken about a partner. While he may be surrounded by beautiful women on set including Lily Collins (Emily), Camille Razat (Camille) and Ashley Park (Mindy), Lucas has a strict rule about dating co-stars.

In 2020, the actor told Glamour: “I have this rule about costars. Once you step on set, it’s a workplace, and I want to keep it professional. I mean, you never know what can happen, but I really try as much as possible to focus on the story we have to tell and the performance and the character. But I never know. And a fan? I don’t really have fans, so I don’t know.”

It seems as if Lucas is a true romantic. When describing his perfect partner he added: “I love when my partner wakes me up in the morning with cuddly, tender…just a sweet wakeup is the best. Kisses on the neck and all that kind of stuff.” But, despite the marriage rumours and fans eager to find out who the hunk is dating, it seems as if he is single, but has left the door open for potential dates.

Lucas said he doesn’t have a type, but instead looks for the “instant connection” and told ELLE Australia: “Sometimes, you just run into someone, you look at this person in the eyes, and in an instant, in a second, so much is said. Just feeling safe and feeling like there’s an old soul in front of me, and we’ve always known each other [like] in a past life or something… it’s something you cannot see, and that’s mostly what I’m looking for.”

Rumours circulated about Lucas and co-star Ashley Park, who plays Mindy Chen as fans speculated a romance between the pair as they looked more than friends. Ashley told Tatler Lucas had shown her around Paris when she’d first moved to the capital to start filming the show, and even referred to her co-star as her “personal Mindy” and the pair, along with Samuel Arnold who plays Julien, lived together temporarily while filming. But, Lucas was firm with his response that he and Ashley remained strictly just friends, but fans are still convinced they secretly dated.
