Prince Harry is booked and busy. After a week of events in New York City, the Duke of Sussex is heading to the U.K. for the WellChild Awards on Monday. However, his itinerary is getting even fuller as The Mirror shared that he has a trip to South Africa and Lesotho planned for October, which is right around the corner. According to the outlet, Harry’s trip will be solo, as there’s no mention of Meghan Markle or the couple’s children coming with him—although there is a heartwarming connection to his late mother, Princess Diana, as the duke shared his schedule.

Harry’s African tour is for his charity, Sentebale, which he established in 2006. The organization works with business leaders and philanthropists from around the world and hopes to establish economic growth in Africa. Harry has scheduled stops in Lesotho and Johannesburg, South Africa. Sentebale means “forget-me-not” in Lesotho’s national language and according to People, the forget-me-not was Princess Diana’s favorite flower.

Harry’s last visit to the region was in 2019. Royal fans know that Africa also had a special place in Princess Diana’s heart, as she often traveled there to bring awareness to HIV and AIDS patients.

“Through its work in Lesotho and Botswana, Sentebale has developed a profound understanding of local youth—their passions, their concerns, and their extraordinary creativity. These young adults are eager and capable of driving meaningful change, yet significant barriers still stand in their way,” Harry shared in a statement. “As we head towards our 20th anniversary, our ambition has grown, giving us the confidence to bring our skills and experience in designing solutions with young people, and to leveraging our convening power to engage with leading regional players and global funders so we can add Sentebale’s voice to addressing the challenges faced by the next generation in Southern Africa.”
