Fans practically grew up with Millie Bobby Brown in Stranger Things. Entering the franchise as an eleven-year-old, it did not take her long to show everyone that a star was in the making. As the final installment of the Netflix original series is about to conclude, fans are eagerly waiting to see Eleven’s powers for the last time as she battles the monsters of the parallel world with her gang. However, it seems the actress will not linger in the Hawkins world for much longer.
In fact, Brown is likely to make an early exit from the show, and there is a strong reason behind it.
Why is Millie Bobby eager to leave Stranger Things?
Earlier, the Enola Holmes star likened the show’s ending to high school graduation. She has also expressed that the extensive filming periods for Stranger Things have limited her involvement in other projects. While Millie Bobby Brown is eager to bid farewell to the beloved show sooner rather than later, there are other cast members who are sad about the show ending.
Maya Hawke has recently shared her thoughts about leaving Stranger Things after season five, and her response was quite different from Millie Bobby Brown’s.
Maya Hawke on Stranger Things ending
Maya Hawke was a late addition to Stranger Things. She has been part of the show since the last two seasons and has still managed to become a memorable cast member. When asked about her thoughts on the show coming to an end, the actress told Entertainment Tonight at Monday’s premiere of Inside Out 2, “It’s already starting to be heartbreaking.”
Hawke further explained how “reinvigorating” and “fun” shooting the final season of the show has been. Many other stars, including Caleb McLaughlin and Sadie Sink, share the same sentiment. However, there are also actors like Millie Bobby Brown who do not wish to drag out the narrative long enough for it to start losing its essence.
