Cardi B offered fans new details about her current relationship status with estranged husband Offset, four months after the “I Like It” rapper filed for divorce.
Things are looking up for Cardi B and Offset.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper offered new insight into her current relationship with her estranged husband amid their ongoing divorce, telling fans that tensions have recently cooled between the pair.
“We’ve been peaceful for over a week, so we like the energy,” she said on a live X Spaces audio broadcast Dec. 14, as recorded by The Jasmine Brand. “We ain’t beefin’. We ain’t really speaking. So I think we’re getting to a point that is, we’re really healthy co-parenting.”
Noting that she’s been “really happy” as of late, the 32-year-old—who shares kids Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a 3-month-old baby girl with the Migos rapper—reflected on the turbulence she said they had been experiencing after E! News confirmed she filed for divorce in August.
“For the past three months, it’s been drama, it’s been arguing, it’s been craziness,” Cardi added. But this week it’s been, like, eight days that it’s been no drama, it’s no bulls–t, it’s getting to a point [where] everybody’s moving on healthy.”
The apparent peace treaty—which included Cardi making an appearance at Offset’s birthday party in Miami Dec. 14, according to Page Six—marks a change for the on-and-off couple, who originally filed for divorce in the fall of 2020 before reconciling two months later. During an Instagram Live broadcast in September, Cardi expressed her gratitude for their three children while sharing some not-so-warm feelings for their dad.
“F–k you, I regret you,” she said of Offset, whom she married privately in 2017. “I’m too good for you. I’ve always been too good for you.”
But Offset, who was watching the Live from his Instagram account, accused his estranged wife of cheating as he commented, “U f–ked with a baby inside tell the truth!!”
Shortly thereafter, the Grammy winner issued what fans presumed was a confirmation of the claim on X (formerly Twitter), writing, “AND DID!!!!!!”
