Well, everyone. Outer Banks Season 4, Part 2 just dropped on Netflix, and…well…so much happened. Like, SO much.

The second half of Season 4 picked up with the Pogues racing to find the Blue Crown treasure, which ultimately leads them to Morocco, all while their personal lives are kind of spinning out of control.
First, you’ve got JJ finding out his parents aren’t really his parents, but his dad is actually Chandler Groff, who might be THE worst dad on a show filled with horrible father figures. And then…ya know…JJ dies.
Then, you’ve got Pope, who stood up for JJ with the cops, and now his parents are trying to send him to the Marines.
And they are about to lose Poguelandia, their adorable little business that I wish they could’ve just held on to and been happily running forever.

However, amidst the absolute chaos of Season 4, one of the brightest spots is unanimously John B. and Sarah Cameron.
Literally I have the softest of soft spots for this duo, and I think they are one of my favorite TV couples of all time.

In the final five episodes of Season 4, Sarah finds out she’s pregnant and eventually tells John B., which leads to one of the sweetest moments.

And, of course, because this is Outer Banks, Sarah almost dies and we get a reunion between her and John B. that I have literally been thinking about for days.

Shortly after Season 4, Part 2 dropped on Netflix, fans could not help but praise Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes’ chemistry in these episodes, and how they’ve remained one of THE best parts of the series.
Many have praised them for their professionalism while playing John B. and Sarah’s love story, considering the duo previously dated.
Many also pointed out how they haven’t skipped a beat, and their chemistry has remained top tier.
Netflix
In an interview with People earlier this year, Chase spoke about working with Madelyn after their breakup, saying, “Despite what has happened in our personal life, like, we met as strangers and things happened, and it was a great relationship, and now we’re exactly where we started, which was just incredibly talented costars and I’m really thankful for her in continuing to bring it.”
Netflix
He continued, saying, “We don’t skip a beat. The world of John B. and Sarah, and I think that’s rare. I think sometimes there’s opportunities for that to slip up or for people to look through the cracks and see, like, Is it still gonna be the same or is it not? So, I’m thankful for her, and I’m thankful for the world that we’ve created.”
Netflix
Madelyn shared similar sentiments as Chase in an interview with Collider, saying, “We get to see that love that they had for one another in Season 1 back but in a very stable environment, which is so nice to do. Of course, it’s been amazing working with Chase because we care so deeply about these characters in this relationship because, besides the Pogues chemistry, that’s kind of what started it all.”
Netflix
That’s all to say that fans have noticed how much Madelyn and Chase care for these characters and their relationship. So here are all the best reactions to John B. and Sarah Cameron in Outer Banks Season 4:
