Lucas Bravo sparked concern that he’d be exiting Emily in Paris as hot French chef Gabriel ahead of the show’s fifth season.

A report claimed he was considering leaving the Netflix TV show behind, despite his character’s season four revelation that he wants to be with Emily.

Variety is reporting that Lucas will be returning for the show’s fifth season and his restaurant will serve as a main location for the new eps!

A source shared that Lucas was hoping his chef character would more closely resemble another famed TV chef – Carmy from The Bear. The source added that he grew out his hair with hopes to have a similar career trajectory as Jeremy Allen White, the star of The Bear.

The show will film in Paris – as well as Rome – beginning in May of 2025.
