The dead walk the Earth once again in a brand-new series from The Walking Dead franchise. Airing from Friday (May 31), The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live is the latest spin-off of the hit zombie series and the hotly-anticipated story of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).

The six-part series finally reveals what happened after the former law man left the group of survivors at the end of season nine. Leading man Rick was believed dead in the years after the show’s ninth season when in fact he was taken away in a helicopter by persons unknown.

After discovering Rick is alive in The Walking Dead finale, his wife Michonne (Danai Gurira) heads off on a mission to find him. Unknown to her, he has been living in a safe zone operated by the Civic Republic Military (CRM), which is so tightly locked down, he can’t leave.

But Rick isn’t someone to give up so easily, and will stop at nothing to reunite with his family. Alongside the main series’ Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira, The Ones Who Live will see Pollyanna McIntosh reprise her role as Jadis Stokes/Anne, with Lost’s Terry O’Quinn and Lucifer’s Lesley-Ann Brandt rounding out the cast.
